Second Interlude

 William Blake, "Pity", 1825

Dear followers and fans, dedicated adherents and frenetic stalkers,

these last couple of weeks the silence coming from this paradisial slice of the World Wide Web has been deafening. I have failed in my task to keep you enlightened and your spirits free from the awesome torments of current-day society. For that I am sorry. I hereby rededicate myself to saving your ailing souls by publishing free knowledge and unveiling the digital gospel of eternal salvation! Like the Buddha, I still take pity on your hopeless incommensurate states and intellectual fumbling! I have not yet ascended beyond the pearly gates of perennial wisdom to take up my place as the rightful messiah of the information age handling the digital sceptre of mercy and revelation! I know you, nay, the world still needs my sparkling inisghts on myth and everything connected to it! You see, in the past days I have been thinking about what I have been providing you with on this hallowed ground of pixels and electromagnetic radiation waves. Stunning ideas, sensational tidbits of information, sure, but what does it all amount to? I have erred, my faithful disciples! I have let my dazzling attention to detail cloud my better judgment of the bigger picture. So here is what's going to happen. I am going to finish publishing my paper on Pico della Mirandola and then I will shower you in radiant, blissful cataracts of not only myth, but also current day-affairs! The world today sadly lacks an adequate understanding of myth, but also fails to acknowledge its enduring connection to the meaningful tales of days long past. We all know the maladies of modern day society are paramount and endemic, so I will commence to guide you past these pitfalls and inadequate traps of ignorance!

Yeah, I'm nice like that.

Friday the next part on Pico. I know you'll be there.
